Very interesting, and something that more people should see as inspiration. More organisations should take this into consideration and create creative and innovative environments.
According to Jaffe it was both a hit and a miss. What do you think?

Location based services like Gowalla add very little value to consumers but are a gold mine for marketers and burglars.

PleaseRobMe.com is a service that lists homes where the owners are not at home right now. The purpose is to raise awareness about how easy it is to map out which homes are easy targets for burglars. This service has recieved a lot of critisism and social media addicts all around the world are claiming that security is not an issue when it comes to location based services. Since everyone is entitled to their own opinion there isn’t much reason to argue about this, you either see a security problem or you don’t.
But how does Gowalla add any value to your life? Exept for cute icons spamming your social networks and a sense of being part of a gang of early adopters.
I just can’t see it how this would in any way improve my life.

Great video about how companies need to act like small and proactive teams or create these teams within the company.
