About me

My name is Tomas Nihlén and I see my self as a web entrepreneur, Internet video/audio fanatic, Apple enthusiast and craft beer lover. I try to use my passions and interest while finding new business opportunities on the web and when I do consulting work for clients in my company Urban Lifestyle which I run together with Linda Pierre.

This is the short version of my background in bullet points:

• I hold a Masters Degree from the Information Systems Programme at Linköping University.
• I hold a degree in Project Management from IHM Business School.
• During the Project Management programme I worked for Swedens probably most renowned trend and future analysis company Kairos Future.
• Later I worked for a PR agency and a web agency before starting my own company Urban Lifestyle in 2006 with Linda Pierre.
• Urban Lifestyle started working with consulting in digital media in 2006 and are now focusing on rich media like audio and video.
• At Urban Lifestyle I am the editor in chief for an international trend report called “Urban Lifestyle Report – New Media”.
• I am also a podcaster, both video and audio, for instance I produce a video podcast in Swedish about craft beer called FemKommaNoll.TV.
• I almost always think up new business ideas while I’m in the shower.
• When I was young I wanted to be a film director and/or inventor, now I can combine parts of both disciplines as a web entrepreneur and podcaster.
